The Hawkesbury Woodcraft co-op mans a sales table and conducts demonstrations at the Australian Pioneer Village each Sunday. The sales items are normally smaller items that the club members have made. This could include wooden bowls, rolling pins, jewellery boxes, toys and other general items made by the members. Sale of these items helps pay the rent on the club building. A small donation is provided to the village to help with the running and upkeep of the site each year. We are located at the old Kurrajong Railway Station and demonstrations of wood turning and scroll sawing are conducted, depending on who is rostered on for the day. It goes to say that our members enjoy working with wood and will tackle almost any type of woodworking including furniture restoration, cutting intricate designs and making miscellanea.
